We had a survey of investors looking at why they use our products, and there were three key reasons they gave.
More than 50% of respondents gave these answers; the first one was around liquidity, so very high liquidity.
The second was around ease of access, so easy to invest in and easy to sell.
The third was around cost, and the real low-cost advantage of using ETCs, much like ETFs, also *feeds through* in terms of gold.

“Il vero vantaggio relativo al basso costo degli ETC, analogo a quello degli ETF, vale anche per l’oro.”

Gli ETC (Exchange Traded Commodities) in pratica sono “ETF” che replicano l’andamento del prezzo dell’oro.
Quindi invece di comprare titoli di società legate all’oro oppure l’oro “spot” si può comprare un ETC sull’oro, che costa meno.

Tanto per non essere pignoli, ovviamente esistono ETC su varie commodities, quindi possono replicare l’andamento del prezzo di qualsiasi commodity sottostante, non solo dell’oro, ma in questo caso specifico si parla di ETC sull’oro.
