On August xxx, 2020, Mr. xxx also filed a notice of appeal of the Amended Judgment.
If the motion is denied, Mr. xxx’s appeal would be allowed to proceed but, even so, the Amended Judgment would remain enforceable during the pendency of the appeal.

This is because, where a judgment is “solely for the payment of money,” Florida Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.310(b)(1) only grants a party the right to “an automatic stay of execution [on the judgment] pending review [i.e., appeal], without the necessity of a motion or order, by posting a good and sufficient bond equal to the principal amount of the judgment plus twice the statutory rate of interest on the total amount on which the party has an obligation to pay interest.”
