Tutta la parte tra ** mi risulta poco chiara, in particolare la conclusione "in this regard". Voi come interpretate la frase?

Secondo me "in this regard" è pleonastico poichè già compreso nel concetto di "for this purpose". Quindi tradurrei così la frase:
......per la suddetta proprietà e per questo specifico scopo ** tramite un ipoteca generale sulla proprietà del Venditore (a questo riguardo) ** ;
