disagree  juristrad: Secondo me, il CEO è il presidente dell'azienda, non un amministratore delegato. Quindi, "richiesti dal presidente". Tuttavia, da verificare :)

La frase sembra voglia indicare che la richiesta fatta al GC per far parte del board debba essere approvata dall' AD, mentre la richiesta di far parte del board posta all'AD debba essere approvata da un altro ente.
