agree  Gian Maria Battistini: Con Google ho trovato il manuale multilingue di un masterizzatore (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe/images/portal/cit_3... dove viene usato "Ave" per "media", come puoi vedere a pagina 11 (inglese) e 35 (italiano).

è molto difficile rispondere senza avere accesso al testo, comunque ho trovato due possibilità

la prima è audio/video equipment (cd e dvd, ci siamo), quindi indicherebbe il tipo di alimentazione per queste 2 categorie (anche se non vedo l'esigenza di specificarlo)

l'altra possibilità è che sia un nome, AVE, di componenti elettronici, il cui sito è http://www.ave-nl.com/eng.html
magari si fa riferimento al fatto che l'alimentazione è fornita con cavi ecc. di questo produttore..anche se mi pare un po' insolita come cosa. In questi casi meglio chiedere al cliente fornendo le proprie ipotesi.
