neutral  Claudia Letizia: this would make more sense if the author had written "as indicated IN the body of the application". --- added later: I agree that they are not native. See discussion.

  -> I know, but in my opinion this has not been written my a mother tongue writer (e.g. see "There are other minimization criteria one may use and depends on the problem requirement." This is grammatically incorrect.
