Quest'ultima frase ci dice che è un sinonimo di "recipiente"... dato che uno dei significati di pig è lingotto, e il lingotto è un blocco di metallo, è plausibile pensare di tradurre con "blocco schermante anti-radiazioni"? Altre proposte?
