Si tratta di una revisione.
Ritrovo il termine, che io tradurrei con il solito *alluminio anodizzato*, tradotto con *alluminio eloxato*.

Vi sembra plausibile/corretto/accettabile?

Explanation:
eloxizzato è un calco dal francese eloxé - secondo me del tutto inaccettabile in italiano, visto che non manca un termine corrspondente, che oltretutto descrive meglio il processo di fabbricazione.

è saltata anche una "i" in "corrispondente" - oggi ho le dita impacciate...

BTW - eloxé viene da "ossidato elettricamente", direi

Asker: ciao Umberto, e grazie. Il mio problema e' che questo benedetto eloxato non lo trovo da nessuna parte, non so se sia un errore oppure no. Diversamente tradurrei con anodizzato, che mi sembra la dicitura comune. Il fatto e' che non vorrei correggere qualcosa che magari e' giusto...i am puzzled.. grazie per ora! ;-)
