In the technical specification of the macheanical equipment of a plant for steelmaking, in the section concerning the Steam Generator:
Water Softening device:
The water softening device includes a resin filled *ionization exchanger* with a capacity of 80dh/m£. The resin has to be regenerated every 5 to 10 working days. The equipment is designed for a minimum supply water pressure of 3 bar and a max pressurte of 9 bar. Regeneration will be semi-automatic and the required equipment like by pass, valves,s alt container etc is included."I would translate the first sentence like: Questo dispositivo di addolcimento dell'acqua include un *ionization exchanger*sigillato con resina con una capacità di 80° dh/m3.
