panetto di margarina Explanation: Regarding margarines, the difference between tub margarine and stick margarine is that tub margarine has less total fat (less saturated fat, and less trans fat) than stick margarine. Stick margarine has more fat in it so that it will hold it's shape. Generally, the softer the margarine, the softer the cookie. If your cookies are nice and soft with the tub margarine and crisp with the stick margarine, then if you use the stick margarine you need to increase the moisture you add to the dough to maintain it's softness. STICK MARGARINES are made up of 80% vegetable oil or animal fat by weight. The convenient tablespoon markings on the wrapper are handy in baking and for people monitoring their fat intake. Stick margarines have approximately 100 calories per tablespoon. The disadvantage of a stick margarine is that it is often higher in saturated fat than a softer tub margarine. Stick margarine made with animal fats such as lard are even higher in saturated fat and contain cholesterol. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 12 mins (2004-03-13 09:49:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Grassi trans e grassi vegetali idrogenati ... margarina solida Explanation: per una spiegazione in inglese, vedi qui: http://www.vh.org/adult/patient/dietary/spreaditthin/ in italiano sembra tradotto con "margarina solida", proprio per le sue caratteristiche di maggiore "durezza" rispetto agli altri tipi più soffici. Contiene inoltre più grassi saturi. http://www.vitadidonna.it/menopausa_000014.html Giovanni -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 12 mins (2004-03-13 09:49:06 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- stesso link di Andreina.... quello in inglese... :-) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 14 mins (2004-03-13 09:51:15 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- o forse \"allo stato solido\" |
