sto cercando un termine adatto a tradurre “poster board” per un pubblico di non specialisti.
Nel paragrafo che segue si descrive un esercizio che gli autori - due psicoterapeuti - fanno con i bambini che hanno difficoltà a riconoscere le diverse emozioni, e propongono questo esercizio anche ai genitori.
Poniamo che un genitore si rechi in cartoleria, cosa dovrebbe chiedere? Avevo pensato a “foglio cartonato” o “cartoncino rigido”, però non me ne intendo molto...
Forse vi viene in mente un termine più preciso?

Dimenticavo: avevo trovato questa definizione in inglese:

poster board

a thick, fairly stiff cardboard composed of layers of paper or paper pulp compressed together and typically used to support displays.

In the therapy office, we’ve used * poster boards * and divided each side of the posters into four squares and labeled them with different feelings. We use the posters in various ways, such as having the child stand on the squares and act out the feeling, having them cut out pictures from magazines and glue them onto the appropriate box, or even draw their own face feeling these emotions. You could take a picture of your child acting out various emotions and labeling them to go into a book as well. There are lots of ways to do this! Get creative!
