per quel “ritual” bisognerebbe capire meglio dal contesto, se ci sono altri accenni, a cosa si riferisca. “Elementi rituali” è una proposta. (Fitta coltre mi pare centrato perché ricorda l’espressione “fitta coltre di mistero”, che richiama la difficoltà di comprendere qualcosa che è in qualche modo non evidente.
