English term or phrase: Mama
The term is used in a not-familiar context, so i don't know if it's ok to translate as "mamma". The sense of this term in the phrase is like the owner of a place: "dance-hall mama", in a contemporary novel, for both children and adults readers. I thought about "dama" or "signora", but maybe it's too reductive. Tkanks for the attention and for your help!
