English term or phrase: Vas a entrar?
This small phrase is found in a newspaper article about a students' drop-in centre. I cannot understand its meaning - I suppose it is a slang expression. Here is the context:
THREE children, dressed in smart white shirts, troop past the giant tub of lard and pause next to the display of glass eyes. "Vas a entrar?" asks one. They glance at each other, pull aside the velvet rope and enter. Somewhere behind a curtain, an adult's voice can be heard.
"I am a person." There is some giggling. "I led the way through the fog." More giggling. "I am an animal?" Squealing. "I am a place?". To enter, you have to know what you are looking for.

Ciao Elena,
Grazie, non conoscendo la lingua non ho minimamente pensato che potesse essere spagnolo... Il testo non accenna alla presenza di ragazzi di altre nazionalità, quindi non avrei mai potuto arrivarci senza il tuo aiuto. E' incredibile come a volte l'essere immersi in una lingua stravolga ogni pensiero che esuli dall'idioma di partenza...
Grazie anche per la velocità, e grazie anche a Ivana.
