Definition:
Urban Dictionary ha coniato un termine perfetto per coloro che si comportano, durante la crisi legata al coronavirus, in modo completamente irresponsabile e pericoloso per la salute propria e quella altrui.
Si tratta del termine Covidiot (In italiano, Covidiota): lo sono ad esempio coloro che assalgono i centri commerciali, che fanno scorte di carta igienica, che vanno comunque in vacanza, che escono ancora in gruppo, insomma è dedicato a tutti coloro che non riescono a mettere in pratica le misure richieste dai Governi.
L'espressione sarcastica nasce da un gioco di parole tra il nome ufficiale della malattia, COVID-19, e, chiaramente, la parola "idiota". Il termine è da allora diventato virale sui social media, e non solo.
