English term or phrase: streak naked
At U-Va., it has been difficult for several waves of administrators to chip
away at drinking traditions. At the annual Foxfield horse races, students
start drinking in the morning and go all day. At the historic Lawn, students
get bombed, strip and streak naked.

neutral  James (Jim) Davis: It might be better to leave the English in inverted commas and put the translation in brackets or as a footnote. Streaking is somthing specific to the UK and US like the "Full Monty" which doesn't occur in Italy. Poi si trova anche nel dizionario IT-IT!

-> Leave it in English? I do not agree.

agree  Giuseppe Bellone: I see what James means, but instead of explaining with other longer words, why not translate it tout court and make it immediately understandable to the reader? The meaning is not wrong after all. My opinion :))

The word even exists in the Italian monolingual dictionar. Another very good reason not to translate it since it is also an Italian word.
