空洞の状態 Explanation: cavityというのは穴や虫歯の穴を意味します。したがって、cavitatedは中に穴が 空いている状態を指すので、空洞という意味になります。 上記の文ですと、製品を熱しても、中が空洞であったり、制限されていたり(多分火薬の 量のことだと推測します)した場合、爆発もしないし、効果も見られない、つまり、何も起きませんよ、という意味に解釈できます。 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 21 mins (2009-01-14 06:03:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 爆発を起こすには、正しい火薬の量が詰まっていなくてはならないということではないでしょうか。 |
