The first term describes someone impersonating a different person in order to gain private information ie. Pretending to be IT support.

The second is more apropriate for describing Quid Pro Quo hacking in it's entirety.

However the problem you encounter is that other than なりすまし this type of hacking doesnt apear to be as prevalent in Japan, meaning that the a Japanese name has yet to be established other than to call it ソーシャルエンジニアリング. Therefore to directly translate Quid Pro Quo would still leave the reader clueless as to what the meaning is. You are better off translating it into a japnese equivalent for this type of hacking.
