There is no international convention for manhole measurements and the size and type differs from country to country and state to state. If this was referring to the number of manholes "3 new manholes" is the most obvious term. You might want to revert this to your client to check. |

3 no. new manholes 新しいマンホール3個 Explanation: クライアントに確かめるのが一番ですが、マンホール以外にも「数字+no. 」を使っているなら、units of のつもりで使っていると思います。その使い方が普通とは言えませんが、東南アジアのエンジニアが書いたと思われる文章でなら見たことがあります。 前の質問のdepth to も分かりにくいので、この著者の文章は、使われている英語自体よりも、文脈のなかで何を言おうとしているかを推測した方が良いと思います。 |
