これは "4 oz. concentrate with up to 1/2 gallons of water" と対照的に出てきているのですが、ただ単に "4 cups" と北米で言う場合は具体的に何 cc （ml、L）の水量を指しているのでしょうか。

If "4 cups" is only noted in the context in comparison with a specific unit of water "1/2 gallons", how much of water can it be equal to specifically in the English world?

おっといい忘れました。ｃｃ (cubic centimeter) とは液体を量るときにはmilliliterのことです。
お料理では1カップを250ｃｃとして扱うことが多いようですが、そうしますと水量が多すぎる結果になることがしばしばあります。

Truly difficult to choose only one correct answer in this case, I guess. Probably a cup would suit somewhere between 235 ml and 250 ml, depending on sources. Appreciate everyone's inputs, thank you. -

Explanation:
“Cup” seems to be used only as a rough approximation. In "general" usage, that amount can vary from 150ml (cc) to 284ml. The UK, US, and Germany (among others) have their own versions/definitions of “cup”. (UK: 284ml, US: 235ml / 250ml, Germany: 250ml)

The following source from FOA (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) is probably a more reliable reference, which sets the US cup equivalent at 235 ml.

In practice, however, I think it’s just not realistic to tell home users to measure out 235ml of water for preparations. It is much easier to assume a cup = 250 ml (though the FOA says otherwise).

In addition, many measuring cups (esp. for kitchen use) are calibrated in metric system, which means that they often come with volumes of fractions / multiples of liters (litres).

Given all such variations and imprecision, wouldn’t it be more advisable to keep “cup” un-translated in Japanese?
