工場内リサイクル紙、市販後リサイクル紙 Explanation: この場合のリサイクルという業界の定義は、一般の定義と少し異なり、工場内で生じた半端な紙を指します。即ち紙製造工場では各段階で半端品が出て来ます。特に最終製品にする前には必ず端を切りそろえますから、必ず半端紙がでてくるわけです。これらを紙業界はリサイクル紙と称しています。これとは別に市販後の紙製品から回収された古紙がpost-conumer紙ということになります。一般の人が、この例にある数字を見ると、あたかも半分以上がリサイクル紙を使っているということで、感心するわけですが、実際に一般人が定義するところのリサイクル紙は30%しか使われていないわけです。というわけで、こうした業界によるreceycleの定義ずけについては、たくさんリサイクルを利用しているかの如く印象を与える業界の定義について、専門家からの批判があります。 |
