English term or phrase: We get off (from work) in an hour.
I don't know, if there's a short and long form of this in Japanese, so I can add "from work" as a clarification in brackets to it, like in English. But if that's possible, then that's, how I need it translated.

Otherwise the situation should be clear. It's about finishing work in an hour from now and getting off = becoming free.

Japanese translation:(仕事は)1時間で終わります/(仕事から)1時間で解放されます/(仕事を)1時間でやめます
Explanation:
Yes, as you said, "get off" in this case is to leave and/or be free from whatever you are engaged in. How you translate it all depends on the context though. Is there any particular context you are in?

agree  AyeJay: I would just add 後 so it's clear that the work did not last just an hour in its entirety, but there's just one hour left.. 仕事は、後一時間で終わる。

一時間で済ます。

Explanation:
”一時間で済ます” is a perfect expression for we get off in an hour, I believe.

一時間で乗り切る also suits.
