agree  Mayumi Sasao: 発音は「ポトパン」ではないかと思います。pot au feuというおでんみたいな料理は日本ではポトフと訳しています。意味については会社の人に由来を尋ねるのが確実ですが、potには「ちょっとしたお食事」という意味がありますので、「松の木のところでのお食事」ぐらいの意味ではないかと想像します。トラーサビリティを徹底して安全な食物を生産しようとする会社名としてふさわしい名だと考えたのではないでしょうか。
