ポキッとシューシュー Explanation: I don't think there is any special meaning. It's explaining that a "one-liner" is fast (snap) and humorous (sizzle). You could equally say "with a pop and a fizz" without changing the meaning much. |

小気味よい、めりはりの効いた Explanation: 花火が弾ける様や、焼けた鉄板の上を水滴が飛び跳ねる様を表現する時に使われるのがsnap and sizzleなので、短いジョークを形容する場合はこのような言い方はいかがですか? |
