Notes to answerer
Anais Devenish Bonjour, But for your terminology = Noun, mec (uncountable). Medical or colloquial term short for meconium (mec liquor) found in the infant's bowel until after birth when it is then found in their first bowl movements. But, sometimes it is in the amniotic fluid (amniotic liquor) before birth or during labor. In slang 'mec' means 'mate', 'guy' or 'bloke'. OR 'eh mec!' = 'hey man!' Bonne journée

B D Finch In this case, "MEC" is clearly an acronym!

writeaway I can't even post an agree.

Reuben Wright Hello, I have reposted the question without restrictions, please read the context, it is definitely an acronym, as @Anais stated. http://www.proz.com/kudoz/6675641

Alain Pommet That's what I would go for. The class of 6ème is for children of 11 or 12 years old and this child has got 52.4%. I don't think it's going to be anything complicated at that age.

Votes in favor of/against selecting this as the best translation of the term asked
Yes  Yoohoo Fujisawa: 施設という用語が少し大げさという気はするが、これが一番近いかも。快適さを増す為の要素のことなんだけど、「不動産」というからにはやはり「施設」でしょうね。

Yes  Yasutomo Kanazawa: 日本の旅館や観光ホテルだったりすると、大浴場、温泉、卓球場(少しレトロかな)などもあったりしますね。
