正しくは"Augmented Target"かと想像しました。
"Primary Target"が当該surveyの「主たる調査対象層」を指すのに対し（狭義）、
調査対象をより広く取った「拡張された調査対象層」を指すのではないかと。

以上just guessingなのと、市場調査のterminologyについては知らないため

Explanation:
拡張・拡大でも良いかと思います。
Survey の場合、大概は商社による調査で、自社の製品を購入する可能性が最も高い消費者を Primary ターゲットとし、次に購入する可能性のあるグループを Augmented ターゲットとします。　アンケートの質問で Primary と発覚した消費者には更に製品について好み・要望等を追及して行きます。　Augmented グループと判断した場合も、Primary ほどではないにしろ、参考までに意見を聞くのが common practice です。
