Japanese translation: yes it is 講習

English term or phrase: tuition breaks
From the same tourism-related marketing text:

Expert fly fishing tuition breaks are held at XX's (hotel name) during the season.

tuition と breaks 、そしてここで使われている動詞の選択が不自然なのでちょっと悩んでいます。文字通りtuition breaksならば、講習料の割引という意味かなと思うのですが、となると動詞はheldではなくofferedですよね?しかしheldが使われているとなると、tuitionではなくてtutoringとかcourseとか、要するにフライフィッシング講習が開催されますよということなんでしょうか。

ちなみに、これはアイルランドの高級ホテルのマーケティング資料です。

Japanese translation:yes it is 講習
Explanation:
You are right that it is a typo/mis-translation. The original translator probably meant to say something like "tutoring breaks", i.e., short classes teaching fly-fishing, although it should be something like "professional fly fishing classes" IMO.
Here's the same page from native version of this website:

Während der Saison werden Kurse zum professionellen Fliegenfischen in Harvey's Point angeboten.

Kurse=classes

well after some digging i think this is not a typo. it seems that the word "tuition" can be used to describe the act of teaching:
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/TUITION

so yes, tuition breaks. and i think Mieko Suzuki's explanation is the best one.

also, the official language of Ireland is English. so the native version of the website is the English version.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thank you so much for helpful information. Yes, I was confused with the use of "tuition". In the US, it usually means "tuition fee" rather than "teaching", "class", etc.

agree  Mieko Suzuki: ホテルやB&Bで、ガイド付きのフライフィッシング講習を提供しているということだと思います。そういうブレイク(お休み)をこのホテルでとるのはいかが、ということでは?

  -> i think you are right. while taking a break from all the fishing activities, one can take fly-fishing classes at the hotel. thanks!
