¥"get¥" is literally ¥"得る¥" (eru), but using ¥"もらう¥" (morau: ¥"be given¥") sounds more natural.

¥"software¥" is ¥"ソ¥フトウェア¥" (sofutowea), but the shortened ¥"ソ¥フト¥" (sofuto) is also used.

¥"もらうの¥" (morau no) is colloguial, and a politer expression is ¥"もらうのですか¥" (morau no desu ka).
