Explanation:
There is "the" (definite article) in this sentence. So they are talking about "the car" (that belongs and related to the speakers). They are not talking about "any" car. For this reason その(sono) is very important when you translate.　Also, you must emphasize that it is ME who wash the car (no one else). Then proper Japanese is 私が(watashi ga).

disagree  Kurt Hammond: In this case I believe "the" is not that important. "Sono" in Japanese is much more specific than "the" in English here. Your Japanese would fit to an english sentence as specific as "It is I who will wash that car."

If you are already talking about the car, it is natural to just say "Watashi ga araimasu" (Meaning "I'll wash it" or "I'll wash the car")

If you are already talking about the car, saying again "watashi ga kuruma wo araimasu" sounds redundant.

So depending on your nuance:

'_I_ will wash the car' or 'I'll wash it': Watashi ga araimasu 私があります。

'I will wash the car instead of doing something else': Watashi ga kuruma wo araimasu 私が車を洗います。
