これはスーツなんですが、洋服のことでも訴訟のことでもなく、ホテルなどの部屋のことです。それも一つの部屋ではなく一連の部屋で、しゃれた名前のもとに xxx suits などといっているのが普通のです。英語では意味はわかっているのですが、日本語ではこれをなんというのでしょうか。ただ「xxx室」でよいのでしょうか?どうもそれでは一連の部屋という感じが出ないのでよい言葉を捜しているのですが...

スィート、と表記するとこの言葉のオリジンが「sweet」だと勘違いしてしまう人などが多かったために、最近ではスイートと、イを大きく表記するのが標準になっています。多くのホテルでスイートルームの表記を採用していると思います。また、xxx suitesなどなにか形容詞がつく場合、xxxスイート、といった表現をすることが多いように思います。特別室というのは意味がわからなくなってしまうと思います。

Suitsでなくsuitesの話ですよね?ホテル名の場合は、カタカナで書くと思います。グーグルで(スイーツ ホテル)検索すると67000ページが出ます。

感覚的には私だったらスイートルームを使うと思いますが特別室も沢山出ました。ただ、特別室と英語のsuiteは100%同じかどうか分かりません。
