4 +1 | lacus briotus |

lacus briotus Explanation: Obviously plastic dustbins and special lorries with automatic loading gear were not common in ancient Rome! ;-) All the same I have not taken too many liberties with the language as 'lacus' can mean 'bin, tub, container' as well as 'lake' or 'lime-pit' and 'briotus' is used for anything with 'two wheels'. I hope this helps! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 days (2005-12-08 12:08:13 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I must have had crossed fingers when writing my suggestion! Yes, Leonardo is correct, it should read: "lacus birotus". My apologies, I hope it is not already tattooed or irredemiably carved somewhere ;-) |
