Does anyone know the suitable Malay translation for this word, "Coverture"?
The complete sentence is "Coverture is the law that prevented a woman from owning property after she got married"...

After some research, I obtain one translation for coverture, which is "Bersuami'... is this correct?
Do I use "Bersuami" or just "Coverture"? Or is there is any other appropriate translation?

Thus, it is better to translate it by transliterate it into Malay while keeping the original word, with introducing a new term to others in mind.
