[the detailed explanation is too long to enter here.] the two terms are entered as synonymous. - istilah undang-undang dbp tranlates "set-off" as "tolakan". there is no entry for "off-set". [however, as you know, in lay term "off-set" means "to balance" i.e. "mengimbang".] |
