English term or phrase: toner dam
The sentence is "Toner dam not removed" and is an error message.

A website says: "A removable protective barrier called a toner dam is inserted between the toner reservoir portion of the cartridge and the other print components. The toner dam keeps the toner powder separated from the photoconductor and the charging and toner delivery assemblies during shipping and handling. The toner dam is removed just before the cartridge is installed into the printer."

All fine. But what is it called in Norwegian?

tonersperre
Explanation:
"Toner dam" gives only ca. 100 hits, so probably there doesn't exist a Norwegian word for this yet. If you don't want to use "-demning", you might consider "-sperre".
