English term or phrase: short nick name
"The error message 'Invalid format for short nick name' appears when printing a document. (Mac OS® X 10.5 – 10.6) ... If the printer driver is not installed correctly, this error occurs. You need to uninstall the printer drivers and reinstall them." I can't find this error msg in research and assumes it's something appearing in Mac OS. Anyone who knows?

agree  Kjetil Kiran: Antar man kan gi skriveren et kortere kallenavn i Os X, type "Hjemme", "Kontoret" etc. Denne beskjeden kommer sannsynligvis når et ugyldig tegn er brukt i dette kallenavnet.
