disagree  Francis Gregson: 'kjedetang' is a chain tong. Cheater bar is a length of hollow pipe placed over the handle of the chain tong/pipe wrench etc. to extend its length, thereby requiring less force to 'break' (i.e. loosen) the treaded connection. No idea what the Norw. is
