Suma kontrolna 1 stanowi wartość kosztów pierwotnych, które dla poszczególnych
centrów kosztów wynoszą odpowiednio 25; 50 oraz 20 tys. zł. Sumy kontrolne
2 określają wartość kosztów ogólnych centrów kosztów po odciążeniu kosztami
(wtórnymi) produkcji w kwocie 30,0 tys. zł oraz rozliczeniu kosztów ogólnych stanowiących
narzuty doliczone do (sprzedanych) nośników wyników w kwotach odpowiednio
20; 30 oraz 25 tys. zł. Dodatkowe rozliczenie odchyleń kosztów produkcji
na nośniki (por. tab. 1) pozwala na wyznaczenie sumy kontrolnej 3, która określa
wartość tzw. nadmiaru/niedoboru, czyli kosztów pozostałych na centrach kosztów.
Kwoty nadmiaru/niedoboru dla centrów kosztów Zaopatrzenie oraz Sprzedaż wynoszą
odpowiednio 5 oraz −5 tys. zł. Suma kontrolna większa od zera może oznaczać
niższą efektywność (tj. wykorzystanie) danego centrum kosztów lub zbyt niskie odciążenie
(na rzecz dociążenia/doszacowania) kosztu własnego nośników wyników.
