Zauważ, że w tekście opisu patentowego, nad którym pracuje Paweł, jest wyraźnie kropka, czyli znak mnożenia: "penetration resistance (mΩ · cm2) before and after pressing".
Gdyby autorom na pewno chodziło o dzielenie, to byłby: 1. albo ukośnik /, 2. albo znany w wielu krajach świata znak dzielenia ÷ (dwukropek z poziomą kreską), 3. albo znany w Polsce (i pewnie w innych krajach też) dwukropek : (dla mnie w szkole podstawowej to był jedyny znany znak dzielenia, dopiero w liceum dowiedziałem się, że istnieją inne).
W sytuacji, gdy mamy kropkę, sytuacja nie jest jasna. Czy autorzy opisu patentowego zrobili błąd? Czy to jest kwestia błędu edytora tekstu w trakcie konwersji na inny format pliku - zamiana ukośnika na kropkę?
Zdecydowanie nie rezystywność/opór właściwy (to są synonimy). Ta wielkość i pojecie jest od dawien dawna zdefiniowane i używanie. A jego znaczenie i jednostka zupełnie inne od dyskutowanego pojęcia. Rezystywność to właściwość danego materiału, niezależna od rozmiarów elementu, jego powierzchni czy siły docisku. Ma tyle z zapytanym wyrażeniem do czynienia, ile masa właściwa stali (7,8 g/cm³) z masą wykonanej z tej stali płyty o powierzchni 1 m². Jedno nie jest drugim.
Tutaj chodzi o jednostkową rezystancję kontaktową. Jednostkową, albowiem odniesioną do powierzchni styku (Ω/cm²).

Nie brzmi świetnie, bo rezystancja (jednostka om) ma z rezystancją powierzchniową (jednostka om/m²) tyle wspólnego, co długość (jednostka m) z prędkością (jednostka m/s). Czyli nic, bo to są inne wielkości fizyczne.
A wpis do glosariusza jest nie tylko błędny merytorycznie, ale jeszcze w dodatku niechlujnie wprowadzony.
Opis patentowy, więc najlepiej jest tłumaczyć w miare możliwości dosłownie. Niestety, dosłowne tłumaczenie nie jest zgodne z już istniejącym (ale nie wiem, jak szeroko rozpowszechnionym) wyrazem "rezystywność", wyrażanym w takich samych jednostkach miar.

Świetny pomysł, żeby pójść drogą miernika. Już wiemy, co dokładnie mierzy. Brakuje mi tylko tutaj jednego elementu układanki - "penetration". Miernikiem mierzy się rezystancję styku, ale w określonych warunkach - pod naciskiem, więc nie wiem, czy to nie jest jakiś szczególny przypadek tej rezystancji styku między kompozytem a kolektorem.
Najważniejsze, że zaczynam rozumieć. Inna sprawa, że zagadnienie dosyć złożone i dla uniknięcia problemów z ochroną patentową wskazane będzie i tak tłumaczenie jak najbardziej dosłowne, bo sprawa nie jest super klarowna - możłiwe, że będzie zatem "rezystancja penetracji" (takie są wytyczne rzeczników).

The use of lithium-ion batteries (LIB) has been rapidly increasing in line with the widespread adoption of smart phones, laptops and other personal devices. Electrical contact is not just the property of the contact material and the underlying substrate but also of the fabrication technique. A poorly-adhering contact will have a large resistance and a metallurgically good contact will have a lower resistance; a delaminated contact will be an open circuit. I think that the penetration here refers to a metallurgical union (good intermixing/alloying with pressure), which is conducive to an electrically conductive contact to the substrate. While I have not encountered "penetration resistance" as such, I have been around people who applied contacts to semiconductors through a variety of techniques.
The corresponding structures (any of [I] to [V]), hot pressing conditions: temperature (°C) and pressure (MPa), thickness (µm) before and after pressing, penetration resistance (mΩ·cm2) before and after pressing, and the results of evaluation of the bonding and shape (good or poor) are shown in Tables 1 to 3 for the examples and comparative examples.

Spróbuj pójść tym tropem. Nie znam definicji "pressure resistance", ale może mieć związek (zależność proporcjonalna) z objętością materiału. Jeżeli piszą "It was pressed by 1 MPa" to IMO raczej "rezystywność przy ciśnieniu" (ew. pod naciskiem mechanicznym), a nie "przy penetracji". Opis patentowy z Japonii, więc nie wykluczałbym błedu w tłumaczeniu.
