To na pewno jakiś skrót. Może rozwinięciem jest fabrication, a może fabric? Pojawia się też industrial-grade, commercial-grade.

Przypuszczam, że w tym przypadku chodzi o to samo - ale jeśli trzeba rozróżnić terminy, to może dla "fab-grade system" pasowałby "system wytwórczy".

Asker: Może tak, ale co zrobić w takim razie z "production grade", który też się pojawia w serii tłumaczonych przeze mnie not prasowych? Czy jest szansa, że to tylko nieudolny synonim, żeby się "lepiej" czytało i utrudniało pracę tłumaczowi?
