Co do „uncontrolled”, to „niekontrolowany” jest kalką — a false friend. „To control” oznacza „opanować’ [objawy choroby]. Jeśli jakieś schorzenie jest „uncontrolled”, oznacza to, że albo nie jest w ogóle leczone, albo leczone jest nieskutecznie. Dlatego moim zdaniem tak właśnie należy tłumaczyć słowo „uncontrolled”. :-) |
