English term or phrase: Officer of Education and Welfare
In July 1948, I was transferred to the air force and assigned a position as an Officer of Education and Welfare. My responsibilities involved formulting programs for educational and cultural events in the north of the country. As a city officer, I was afforded the luxury of living in my own apartment in Jerusalem Street while working in downtown office. I was responsible for the welfare of air-force soldiers. arranging for their care when injured and making official visits, on the army's behalf, to their families. I was also required to organize activities intended to inspire the morale of the soliders. I spent time creating a library of magazines and periodicals, and I also interviewed and hired musicians and artists to perform at military bases.

Dobra okazja, by to oficjalne urozmaicić. Poza tym-śmiało do użycia w wolnym przekładzie. Thx!
