Explanation:
quando há uma infecção, os vasos dilatam para que os glóbulos brancos que vão combater a infecção possam aflorar à região, que fica inchada, quente e avermelhada (devido ao fluxo acrescido de sangue)
depois, para que os glóbulos brancos possam chegar junto do "corpo estranho" que está a causar a infecção (micróbio, ou agente físico, como uma farpa de madeira, vidro, etc) e atacá-lo, têm que se abrir essas pequeníssimas zonas de passagem para fora dos vasos sanguíneos
