In Portuguese we don't have an exact translation for griefing in this context, but there is an expression called "trollagem", which is something close to "trolling". Trollagem means the same as griefing to the gaming context.

O "griefer", aquele que pratica o "griefing", é basicamente o jogador que objetiva atrapalhar de alguma forma, seja esta ação pequena ou não, a jogatina de outro(s) jogador(es). Expressão utilizada comumente em jogos que envolvem o "crafting", a construção de objetos, para se referir ao ato de destruir a construção de outro jogador, porém a aplicação do "griefing" não é limitada e pode ser aplicada em outras situações.

Pode ocorrer de diversas formas. Algumas das mais comuns são:
- Atacando membros da equipe;
- Perseguindo jogadores;
- Enviando, repetidamente, mensagens;
- Bloqueando passagens;
- Não participando, propositalmente, de uma partida.
