Ando aqui às voltas com um texto sobre a substituição da castração cirúrgica de suínos pela castração química através de uma vacina contra o odor sexual (o odor sexual é um odor desagradável que se pode verificar quando a carne de suínos machos não castrados é aquecida para ser cozinhada). O meu problema de tradução está em “smells” neste título já que, embora eu perceba a analogia (o método preferencial para detetar o odor sexual é pelo olfato humano), o verbo cheirar não se me afigura o mais apropriado. Algum dos colegas tem uma sugestão criativa?
