No  Marina Moya: O termo termo mais exato é MASTECTOMIA (de transexualização) de acordo com a ANS e refere-se à retirada dos seios para redesignação de gênero.

  -> Obrigado pelo feedback, Marina. Parece-me que este é de fato o termo técnico correto, tanto que existe também em inglês a palavra "Mastectomy", mas de qualquer maneira, eu também encontrei referências para mamoplastia no contexto de transexualização.

Yes  Kevin Albuquerque: Na verdade está correto sim, a mastectomia diz respeito à cirurgia para a retirada das mamas, mas não para o aumento. O termo top surgery se refere a ambos, por isso mamoplastia é o mais correto, pode ser uma mamoplastia de aumento ou redutora
