Transcrevo abaixo duas estrofes da canção, na qual o prometido futuro ("future") no trabalho contrasta com o fracasso ("failure") na escola. Porém isso não detém o anti-herói, pois ele está satisfeito com a vida tal como é.

posso estar errado, mas ao que parece a pessoa está falando em um tom irônico, nesse caso, eu acho que eu iria com o "formado um fracasso", embora "educado" também seja uma possibilidade.
