Acho que não é o lugar adequado para essa dúvida, mas foi o que eu achei. Estou traduzindo um livro do inglês para o português(BR). Não sei se mantenho os títulos das referências bibliográficas da autora: dos livros, dos nomes das organizações, sites, seções dentro dos sites, e deixo a tradução entre parênteses; se mantenho só os títulos originais; se deixo só a tradução e tiro o original.... Vai do meu bom senso? Tem uma norma internacional e/ou nacional sobre isso?


I don't think this is the right place for this inquiry, but it was the one I found. I'm translating a book from English to Portuguese(BR). I'm not sure if I keep the titles of the bibliographic references from the author: of books, the name of organizations, websites and their sections, and write the translation in brackets; if I keep just the original titles; if I keep just the translation and remove the original.... Is it up to my judgement? Is there an international and/or national standard addressing that?

Explanation:
Eu verificaria, para cada título, se há versão publicada no Brasil. Para essas eu colocaria os títulos traduzidos. Para as demais, deixaria somente o original, ou o título original acrescido de algo como (não publicado no Brasil).

Isso porque o objetivo das referências é identificar as mesmas, e nesse caso, é o que faz mais sentido.

Reference information:
Eu geralmente não traduzo as referências bibliográficas porque muitas delas não são obras traduzidas e não seriam encontradas (com um nome traduzido) de qualquer maneira. Mas de qualquer forma, sempre confirmo com o cliente. Não sei se existe uma norma a ser seguida nesse caso. Acho que não.
