E un termen de care m-am tot ciocnit... Folosit tot în astronomie, în descrierea interacţiunii dintre corpuri. Să fie "forţe mareice" ? Sau există altă formulare mai bună în română ?

Ştim că mareele sunt mişcări periodice de flux/reflux a nivelului mării datorate atracţiei gravitaţionale a lunii şi a soarelui. În cazul găurilor negre, neexistând apă şi deci nici maree, sintagma "forţă mareică" e mai degrabă o metaforă.

Asker: Nu mi-e foarte clar de ce ar fi diferit în cazul găurilor negre. Am citit ambele texte... E un efect al forţei gravitaţionale şi mi se pare valabil şi pentru găurile negre. Bine, cred că se poate folosi forţă gravitaţională, deşi ar fi o generalizare.

Asker: Da... De asta am avut de la început ezitări cu forţa mareică, singura (mea) problemă fiind că am tot întâlnit expresia folosită pentru a descrie unul din fenomenele din interacţiunea gravitaţională a corpurilor cosmice, cu efectele ştiute - modificări de formă, orbită, tidal locking... Nu caut echivalentul strict în cazul găurilor negre. Şi e clar că termenul englezesc povesteşte mai mult decât că e vorba de gravitaţie. Mai mult decât o metaforă, ar putea fi vorba despre o generalizare a termenului folosit iniţial pentru a descrie interacţiunea Lună-Pământ pentru toate celelalte corpuri care nu au oceane. Mă mai gândesc...
