stiu ca se spune \"brioche\"... dar compozitia e in mare aceeasi: \"Materiile prime folosite pentru fabricarea brioselor afânate chimic sunt: făina de grâna de grâu de diferite extractii, mălai, tărâte, nuci, fructe proaspete si confiate, legume etc.\"

http://www.canapesdirect.co.uk/scone.htm de unde se vede ca diferenta intre scones si brioches este foarte mica.. adica eu nu o vad. mi-am adus aminte cu ocazia asta ca la mine acasa numim ceva f asemanator (ma refer doar la aluat) \"tavite\" - de la forma in care este pus aluatul. apoi aceste tavite sunt umplute cu diferite \"compozitii\" nedulci.
mi se pare ca trebuie lasat termenul \"briose\" pt \"brioche\", si gasit altul pt \"scone\"…
variante de traducere: buseuri - adica de la \"bouche\", ce se poate manca dintr-o inghititura. dar mi se pare ca merge mai mult ca aperitiv…si in cazul de fata, trebuie sa fie ceva dulce.. atunci. buseuri dulci?...

Explanation:
Raspuns sincer: nu stiu cum le-ai putea zice in romana! Sunt ca niste chifle, unele cu stafide in ele, putin dulci, si englezii pun pe ele frisca, unt sau gem, ori a mixture of those. Personal, cred ca nici briosa si nici biscuitele nu sunt termeni exchivalenti, mai ales ca in romana ai folosi briosa pentru muffin, ceea ce ar face ca textul tau sa sune: ceai, briose si briose!
Si sa nu mai zic, ca poti exista o diferenta foarte mare intre cele englezesti si cele scotiene; ca si intre muffins; ceea ce numim noi briose sunt defapt American muffins, oricum cele mai la moda si in UK amu.
Mai jos definitia din OED online, nu stiu daca ai access la el!
