eu m-am incurcat cand am postat raspunsul, pentru ca voiam sa scriu foitaj/aluat frantuzesc. ma gandeam si la altceva, asa ca a iesit aluat de foitaj... sorry

Nu este orice fel de aluat de patiserie, are un anume tipic si anume ingrediente clare. Eu as pune termenul in engleza si explicatia in paranteza. Nu orice se poate traduce, de vreme ce la noi altele sunt retetele preferate, traditionale...

Am cerut toate clarificarile de mai sus si am dat aceste explicatii deoarece un aluat de foetaj clasic odata ce este gata pregatit nu este bine sa-l framanti (Doamne fereste) si in general trebuie sa umbli repede cu el si cu mare grija sa-si pastreze calitatile lui, adica foile din el sa se poata desface frumos la coacere...

dar poate ca este unul din acele aluaturi minune industriale cu care poti sa faci ce vrei si atunci el doar se aseamana ca rezultat cu flaky pastry, dar de fapt, poate fi framantat, etc.

A type of pastry that's rolled, folded and re-rolled several times to create layers of pastry which in the heat of the oven will rise into thin leaves. Heavier than puff pastry, but easier to make, it's usually used for savoury pies and is often baked with a roasting pan full of water at the bottom of the oven because the steam helps the pastry rise evenly and develop a crisp crust.

Operaţia se repetă apoi ţinând seama ca de fiecare dată, aluatul, după ce a fost împăturit, să fie întins în sens contrar de cum a fost rândul precedent. Se acoperă şi din nou se lasă 10 minute la rece. Se repetă operaţia întinsului şi a împăturitului încă de patru ori, lăsând aluatul să se odihnească 10 minute, la fiecare două rânduri. "
